02 — Group Therapy

Healing happens in good company.

The support of a therapist plus the understanding of people who truly get it. Group therapy is one of the most affordable and connected ways to do this work. Misty's current group, Reclaiming Yourself After Trauma, is a supportive space for women working through trauma's impact on their emotions, relationships, and sense of self.

  • Small, guided groups led by a licensed therapist
  • Focused on trauma recovery, resilience, and self-compassion
  • An affordable path to real connection — sessions $50–$60

03 — Children & Teens

Gentle, age-friendly support for younger clients.

Kids don't always have the words for big feelings — so we use play. Through play therapy and a warm, developmentally sensitive approach, I help children and teens name what they're feeling and learn to manage it. Parents are part of the journey.

  • Play therapy for children
  • Support for anxious, overwhelmed, or grieving teens
  • Parents included and supported throughout

04 — Couples & Families

Space to reconnect and be heard.

Relationships take work, and sometimes they need a neutral third person in the room. Together we'll look at the patterns keeping you stuck, rebuild trust, and find ways to communicate that actually land.

  • Couples working through conflict or disconnection
  • Families navigating change or tension
  • Practical communication tools you can take home

Areas of focus

What I help people work through.

Some of the most common reasons people reach out. If you don't see your situation here, reach out anyway — chances are we can still help.

Anxiety

Quieting the racing thoughts and finding steadier ground.

Depression

Finding your footing and a way back toward what matters.

Trauma & PTSD

Processing hard experiences with EMDR and trauma-focused care.

Stress & burnout

Recovering from too much, for too long, and setting new limits.

Grief & loss

Making space for loss and learning to carry it.

Life transitions

Navigating change — new chapters, endings, and everything between.

Getting started

Simple from the very first step.

1

Reach out

Send a note or call. Tell me a little about what you're looking for — a sentence is plenty.

2

Free consult

We'll talk for about 15 minutes to see if we're a good fit. No pressure, no obligation.

3

Begin

If it feels right, we book your first session and start the work, together.

Payment & insurance

Care that's within reach.

I believe cost shouldn't stand between you and support. I accept several insurance plans, and offer private pay and a sliding scale for those who need it.

Not sure about your plan? Send me your insurance details and I'll check your coverage for you.
